Arts Bubble 19464
The Arts Bubble 19464 is an initiative formed by a group of Pottstown HS and Pottsgrove HS, and now aided by students from The Hill School, Owen J. Roberts, and students from Bayard Rustin HS (the Exton Arts Bubble) to maintain a free cultural arts program available to area teens. The program is a fiscal project of The Tri County Community Network and began during the pandemic in Norristown with a production of Chicago and then All Together Now, under the name The Arts Bubble at Centre Theatre. When 95% of the students were coming from the 19464 area, the students urged Arts Bubble Founding Director, Aileen Lynch-McCulloch to move the program to Pottstown. West Chester students asked for opportunities in Exton.

The Arts Bubble initiative provides an opportunity for high school students and recent graduates to work together on self-expression throughout the year (cabarets, art days, leadership classes, game nights and more). The year culminates annually in a fully staged summer musical. Under McCulloch’s guidance, the program now also offers scholarships to actively participating Arts Bubble leadership to allow them to do fee based programs elsewhere outside the free summer arts program along with college scholarships for advanced training. Teens are encouraged to take on leadership roles along with acting, singing, dancing and technical support. Open auditions lead to role offers being made to ALL students who audition. Thank you for your support of this leadership and performing arts project!
